Our new math unit is titled "Adding and Subtracting Fractions." It's a fairly short unit, with only 4 lessons. The following are the titles of the 4 math lessons:
Adding and Subtracting Fractions with Like Denominators
Adding Fractions with Unlike Denominators
Subtracting Fractions with Unlike Denominators
Problem Solving: Draw a Picture and Write an Equation
I think that math topic 11 is kind of hard, but fun at the same time because we get to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. For example: 2/8+3/4=8/8=1 whole in simplest form. And here is subtraction 5/12-2/6=1/12 in simplest form. That is some examples of how to add and subtract fractions with different denominators. That is why I like fractions!
Topic 11 is kind of hard but is still fun.I like to add and subtract fractions like 1/2+6/8=10/8=12/8
