Anthology Story

In Anthology students are reading a story called My Name is Maria Isabel.  To build background on this story, they learned about Hanukkah.  Our theme is called "problem solvers" so in this story, Maria faces a problem that she has to figure out how to solve.  Students will be working on the strategies of noting details and making predictions as well as answering questions about what they read.

    I like in Maria Isabel that Maria didn't get in the play but in the end she was singing in the play!
